During 2019 and 2020 our new house was being built. This created a awesome opportunity to photograph and sketch the builders as they worked. Ultimately, I took hundreds of photographs and dozens of sketches, all of which inspired several more finished pieces such as this one. I used pastels and colored pencils on Clairefontaine pastel mat.
